Sunday Fun: Liar's Dice

Digg!

Every Sunday, we always go to my husband's parents house. That way they can see their grandson, Abi, regularly. As a way of our entertainment there, we play any kind of board games. And last Sunday, we played Liar's Dice. We played some other games too such as LIFE, Apples To Apples and Racko but I will talk about them some other time.

Liar's Dice is very easy to play. All you need is YOUR OWN technique and a GOOD LYING ABILITY. Yes, you just need to be good at lying or probably not all the time. Normally, there will be 20 dice to play with and you need to divide that to each player. But since it was only 3 of us playing, we used 18 dice to we have 6 dice each. Then there is one red dice on the board.

To start the game, each player would roll the red dice and the one that will get the highest number would play first. To play, you roll all your dice (white ones) then it would be up to you to lie or tell the truth. Using the red dice, you say or guess the dice for all the players.
For example, you have 3 #3 dice and the other dices have mixed numbers. You can say that you have 3 #3 dice and then put the red dice to #3 and on the #3 on the board or you may lie or guess that there are 4 or 5 or 6 or higher numbers of #3 on dice.

The other players may play their dice too. They can change the red dice as long as it's going up and no going back. Or they may challenge you if they think that you lied.

Very simple game but it is so much fun.
