Very weird dream

I woke up earlier, around noon (yes, I'm a late-riser) with a weird dream. My dream was about the second book/series of the movie Twilight--the most popular vampire movie today--New Moon. What's weird about it is I was in the movie itself as Bella (I know it sound funny but it was really my dream). I wasn't fat in the movie, it seemed like I took a very effective weight loss product, and I had the same body as Bella (haha!). I can't remember my whole dream but it was all about it. And another weird thing is, I'd wake up for a few seconds then back to sleep and my dream would just continue.

I told my husband about it and yeah, you're right, he just laughed at me and said that I should get that Twilight book cos he knew how much I wanted to own one. Maybe that dream was caused by too much anticipation of getting the book and being able to read it.

My Top 3 Favorite Things To Do (For Now)

I guess everyone noticed that I'm a kind of person who easily gets tired of everything, except for my loved ones (*wink). I used to be obsessed with blogging. I blog almost everyday and make at least 3 post a day. If you don't believe me, check out my last year's Archive. I still love blogging though, cos if not, I won't be making this post, but not as much as how I love it when I started doing it. But it got too old for me that I don't do it very often now. Also, there are new things that are keeping me busy now and this is what this post about.

So, here are the my New Top 3 Favorite Things To Do on my pastime:
1. Ticket To Ride Game - This is all my husband's fault (lol! blaming it on him). He introduced me to the board game version when I first got here. It is one of his favorite board game. Then we realized that we can play online against other players from all around the globe. So, we usually play online the whole day until one of our computers crashed and only one working now.

2. Cosmopolitan - Yes, the magazine. This is the only magazine that I'd read from cover to cover cos it has everything that interests me: relationship advice, fashion, showbiz, beauty talks, and sex (oh yeah!). I have my subscription so I can get it once a month and read it for couple of days. So it doesn't really take too much of my time.

3. Facebook - I've been a member couple of years ago but wasn't interested in it until a month ago. Talking about pastime, this is, for me, a perfect way to let the time pass really quick. Of course, I have my favorite applications -- Fashion Wars, YoVille, Speed Racing, and Sorority Girls

There you go! Now you know why I haven't been posting for a while now. Well, I got new things to do. For sure, those things will get old too most especially when I'll get a job which hopefully be soon.

But I'm not saying that I'm gonna buy every single one of them. I just admire different shoes and if I have the money to afford them, I'd go and get them. Save yourself from drowning economy with Gold

It is really sad to know that the whole world is suffering from bad economy today. When I was still in the Philippines, I really thought that our country was the only one suffering until I came here in the US and realized that even this country that is known to be the land of opportunity is also suffering. Lost of businesses here have closed already and there is higher percentage of unemployment.

But, don't you know that there is way to save yourself from this very bad economy? Well, I hope it's not yet too late for us and I will still tell you. Gold investment is what I am talking about. Why? Because it's price is going up, unlike the other metals that decreases it's value. In fact, I've read from Wikipedia that the price of price of gold per ounce in 1970 was USD $37.40 and in March, 2008 the price was already USD $1,000.00.

There are actually two main reasons why people invest for gold: to financially gain from increasing gold prices, and/or as a hedge or safe haven against any economic, political, social or currency-based crises. And the easiest way to gold investment is by owning bullion or gold coin. So, investor would say, if you want security, get your golds.

Two Movies In A Row - Missin' Pinoy Flicks

I'm not really fond of Pinoy movies until I got here in the US. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate them and I'm proud of the Filipino talents. It's just that most of the movies, or shall I say the movies before and some now, are so predictable. But it's not a generalization. There are lots of Pinoy movies that are good too, but I guess it's just a typical Filipino mentality to not love their own. Just an opinion.

Anyway, I was so excited earlier when I finally received the DVDs that I ordered online. They're all Filipino movies. I miss Pinoy movies so much that I just want to have a movie marathon with them. I got 4 DVDs but of course, I wasn't able to watch all of them. My son wouldn't let me (hehe), so I only watched two today.
I first watched this movie, For The First Time, starring KC Concepcion and Richard Guttierrez.

I'm surprised why most people said that KC didn't do good in the movie. Actually, for me, she did pretty well considering that she's a newbie. Yes, she may be the Mega's daughter but it wasn't the mega acting, it was KC. For me, she did better than what I was expecting. I was more surprised with Richard's acting though. I still think that he can do so much better with acting.

But the movie is a so-so. I just like it because KC's there and I like her. The story is somewhat good but the flow isn't. It's like it has so many endings, then it would start again. So, my overall rating, just 3/5.

Then, I also watched One True Love, starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. It is a really dramatic movie, so it's expected to be boring unless you wanna pay attention to the movie, and I suggest you should cos it has a very good story. I'd rate this movie 5/5 cos it pulled tears from my eyes (lol).

Of course, the actors are good too. Marian Rivera is really a shining star and I am always impress by her acting skills.

So, if you haven't watched this movie yet, I hope that my short reviews would help.
