Loves Playing TETRIS

Tetris is one of the most popular games wherever, in family computers (old times), brick games (does it still exist?), almost all game consoles, mobile phones, portable media player, and PDA. This is is also one of the games that we play whenever we don't have clients in the office and we fight the boredom. It looks easy but it's not. It is considered as a puzzle in a unique way. And I know that lots of you is familiar about this game. Now, do you know a little history about Tetris?

Here is what I knew from my own research. Tetris was originally designed and programmed by Alexey Pajitnov, a Russian computer engineer, in 1985. Tetris is a combination of the Greek numerical prefix tetra (tetramino) as all of the pieces contain four segments, and Tennis, Pajitnov's favorite sport. With the help of Dmitry Pavlovsky and Vadim Gerasimov who works with Pajitnov in Russian Academy of Sciences, ported it to the IBM PC. Since then Tetris had become popular until now.
