Benefits from AVOCADO

Avocado also known as alligator pear have a smooth, creamy, greenish-yellow flesh with an unusually high amount of fat that is primarily monounsaturated. They also contain a high concentration of dietary fiber, vitamins and potassium. The pit, seed, leaves, bark and in some cases fruit can be toxic to some animals, particularly birds, though much less so in humans; the toxicity of the fruit may be an evolutionary adaptation that assisted seed dispersal by Pleistocene megafauna.

BENEFITS:
○ It contains beta-carotene which helps to prevent cancer.
○ Has good Antioxidant which helps the body to fight the free radicals effect that damage the body cells.
○ It gives relief to sunburnt skin by cutting the fruit in half and rub it to affected area(s).
○ Can smoothen dried skin and heal skin rashes by making avocado paste.
○ A great aid for digestion problems.

Those are the only common benefits you can get from avocado so there are lot more.

I was amazed to see all the benefits from avocado upon reading The Health Benefits of Avocado website. Good thing I like eating avocado and if you're not, you may start thinking now or you'll regret it forever.
