Women I Admire Most

This is my first to join this Meme started by Mommy Mitch. But here goes..

It's not actually women, but just WOMAN, and she's gonna be MY MOTHER. I don't think I would admire any other woman aside from her and she worth it, actually, more than just an admiration. I wish I can be like her, tough, dedicated, sensitive, giving, loving, protective, and a great mother and a wife. Actually, no words can describe how great she is and there's nothing I can do to be like her because she is unique in way or another.

All the things that she did to me was the best, but if there is a word that is more than BEST, that would be how I describe her when I got pregnant. I hate to remember the most stupid thing I did but I just want to tell the whole world what my mother did to prove that she truly loves me unconditionally.

I got pregnant by a man that I didn't love, you see how stupid it is. But despite of it all, I ran home away from my parents thinking that I can live with that man without any help from my parents. The very next day, SHE found me. We were residing at Davao City that time and I went to Cagayan de Oro City with that guy. I told my Mom the truth and she brought me back home. To my surprise, she lied to my father. She didn't tell my father the truth that I was pregnant because she knows that HE may hate me forever if he found out the truth. She told my father that I got a job in CDO and I need to go back there, which I did. She doesn't like the guy but she understand that we need to be together to start a new life because I am having his kid. She did everything to support me while we are away from each other. But miracle happened, for some reason my relationship with that man didn't work out and we separated. My mother was right.

She, together with my father who doesn't have any idea about the whole truth yet left our beautiful home in Davao and started a NEW LIFE with me in CDO. But the day came where I can't hide my bulging tummy, we then told my father which hurt him big time, but he still forgave me.

Now, I am happily married with a man that God gave me and accepted my son as his own without any doubt. I then found out that during those troubled times, my Mom never fail to mention me in her prayers. She with the help of God had gave me another chance to correct the mistakes I did and here I am now.

If my mother hasn't been as supportive as what she was during those times when I needed her, I wouldn't be where I am now. Now, you understand why she is ALWAYS THE BEST for me.

My Baby's Name

My Baby's Name: My son's name is Dion Bernard. We got those names from my parents name. Dion is from my mother's name which is CereDIONa while Bernard is from my father's name BERNARDo.

I named my son after them because I owe them a lot from the day that I was pregnant with him until now. I know I betrayed them as my parents when I got pregnant by a boyfriend who just left me out of the blue. I know I hurt them so much but they still took care of me. Accepted me as their daughter and forgave me without any doubts for what I did. If without them I would've been dead by now because what happened to me was never easy. But they loved me just how they always do when my mom herself carried me in her bossom. They are so precious me just as how they treat my son preciously.

But we gave my son a nickname, Abi. Abi is a bisaya (language in Visayas and most part of Mindanao) word meaning "I/we thought or a term for guess". When I was pregnant of him, I always love to wear pink. Anything pink: my clothes, shoes, even my underwear, hairtie. just anything but pink so I thought that I have a girl baby. But when I had my first ultrasound when I was 7 months pregnant, we found out that it was a boy. We were not disappointed though but we just named him "Abi" because we only thought that he's a girl. hehe.

Tuesday Toot: Made Own Forum

This is my very first and definitely not the last post for joining Mommy Community's activities.

My Toot for this Tuesday is about the Forum that I made today. I was doing a site hopping when I came into another community and followed the sponsor for their forum. Then I was convinced to sign up and create my own forum.

As for now, I am the only member of the forum because I just made it today, but I am hoping to put it in this site and have everyone enjoy it. I titled the forum FRIENDSHIP CORNER because I wanted it as a medium for everyone here in the cyberspace to meet and create friendship.

1. I am a Dabawenya and I am proud of it.
2. I just got married to a wonderful man last July 20, 2008.
3. I am addicted to blogging and God knows how I love to blog, especially when I am earning.
4. I used to love wearing high heeled shoes before but I just hate it now. They just don't seem to be friendly to me at all now.
5. I am a fun-loving person. I hate being serious though sometimes I need to, but I always joke around with my husband. I guess that's how we complement each other.
6. I used to be a mean girl at school when I was at college but I hated myself for being one and I am doing my best to be not another mean girl anymore. So far, I am doing a good job about it because I never had the chance to do it again.
7. I don't usually say I Love You to my parents, but now that I am far from them, I say it every chance I get coz God knows how much I love them.
