LIFE Video Game

Me and my husband usually just play video game when we have spare time. Of course, we always see to it that we have spare time to spend with each other and the family.

Today, he introduced me to LIFE, a video game where you can earn by having the most money at the end of the game. It is similar to some board games that we roll dice and pass some spots where you can either earn or pay, but with LIFE game, you won't roll dice but spin a wheel to know how many spots you pass. I didn't end up winning a game because I didn't get home insurance and needs to pay each time something happen to the house that I bought.

Well, it was my first to play the game so I guess it should be expected that I won't win it. But what's important is we both had fun and we had time to bond by playing that game.

Thursday Take-Out Tradition

No, this is not another meme. This is about our own family tradition that we started a couple of months ago.

Every Thursday evening, our whole family would go to church and we usually be home around 9 o'clock which is too late for me to prepare dinner so we always end up going to a fast food restaurant and order through drive-thru. Then, we just decided that we will just do this as a tradition that even if by rare chance that we won't be able to attend church service, we would still take-out foods from a restaurant and eat it at home.

We normally just order from any fast food restaurant near us and we can get to on our way home from the church: Taco Bell if we decided that we wanted Tacos, Nachos, Talopas, or Buritos; Wendy's if we want burgers; and Popeyes if we wanted fried chicken.

We are starting to have a little tradition for our family and it's fun to start one.

NOW

THEN

This is my entry for PMC's Weekly Fest #16, Photo Post: Now and Then.

The picture for NOW was taken last July when me and my husband are having our honeymoon at San Antonio, TX. That picture was specifically taken during our boat tour at River Walk.

The picture for THEN was taken last 2003 when I was in Junior College together with my friends, Grace and Richelle. We were at an Internet cafe that time, either doing our project or just fooling around, but obviously we're having fun.

I changed a lot since that picture (THEN) was taken. Physically, I gained a lot of weight. I remember I was just around 90-94 lbs. then but now I am weighing 132 lbs. Just imagine that! hehe. Well, aside from I am married and have a son now, I think I am more responsible that what I am before. I used to be a happy-go-lucky person who doesn't much anything in the world but to have fun. But I have learned that life is not just all about fun because it wouldn't be life at all. Though lots had changed, I still love my life and loving it much more than how I loved it before.

Advantage of having PR

Digg!

I have been blogging since January of 2008 and it is my first time having one of my blogs ranked by Google. Honestly, it is overwhelming for me, in a positive way. I can really see the advantages of having a PR than not having one.

First, you earn more traffic. Before I had PR, I have been receiving a medium traffic because of my resources, especially Entrecard. I even got more subscribers and commenters now. I hope it would stay that way or better so that my PR would go higher.

The best thing I notice of having PR is more money. More opps from my money making resources such as PPP, SS, BToP, PU2B, SR, and Smorty. It was really a blessing in disguise because at this stage, we have some financial problems. I hope it won't be for long. But having this blog ranked was really a blessing to me and even to my family. Thanks for all the support and to Mr. G! *wink*
